Content Marketing Specialist

A pivotal and newly created role for a creative and talented Content Marketing Specialist. Involving the curation, creation and distribution of valuable and relevant marketing content for a provider of learning and development solutions specialising in change and transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and modify high-quality content including articles, blog posts, social media posts, newsletters, e-books, videos and infographics
  • Design and execute a strategic content plan aligned with company goals, targeting specific customer segments
  • Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to enhance content visibility and search rankings
  • Analyse and understand the target audience and ICP’s including CEO’s, HR Directors, Chief People Officers and Heads of L&D/OD, to create personalised and relevant content
  • Plan, schedule, and manage content publication to ensure a consistent flow of fresh content
  • Monitor and analyse content performance using analytics tools, presenting metrics such as traffic, engagement and conversion rates
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure content aligns with brand messaging and objectives
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, news and competitor activity to produce timely and relevant content
  • Interact with target audiences on social media, forums and other channels to foster a loyal community and encourage user-generated content

Skills

  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Familiarity with SEO strategies, keyword research and analytics tools
  • Proficiency in HubSpot and Wix is an advantage
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Creative thinking and problem solving skills

Experience

  • A minimum of two years of experience in a similar role with a focus on marketing related content
  • Proven experience in content marketing, copywriting or editorial roles within a digital marketing setting
  • Experience of creating compelling content relating to business skills e.g. leadership, change, transformation is an advantage

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Psychology, Communications, Journalism or a related field
