Senior L&D Manager (12 Month FTC)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Learning & Development (L&D) professional to take on a strategic leadership role within a dynamic, fast-growing global organisation. This position is responsible for shaping and driving a comprehensive global L&D strategy, ensuring high-impact learning experiences across multiple regions. The role involves leading a small team, implementing innovative learning solutions, and collaborating with senior business leaders to foster a culture of continuous development.This a hybrid role with travel into the office 3 x a week.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a small, dedicated L&D team to deliver engaging and impactful learning experiences.
  • Develop and execute a global L&D strategy, ensuring consistency while adapting to different markets and cultural nuances.
  • Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimisation of a Learning Management System (LMS) to support a diverse global workforce.
  • Design and deliver tailored learning pathways that align with business needs and regional requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with senior leadership to drive engagement and alignment with L&D initiatives.
  • Manage the L&D budget effectively, allocating resources strategically to maximise impact.

Experience

  • Significant experience in a senior LD role within a complex, global organisation, ideally within a high-growth or private equity-backed environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing an LMS across multiple regions.
  • Experience leading and developing a small team to deliver high-quality learning initiatives.
  • A strong background in designing and implementing effective learning strategies and programmes.

Education

  • A relevant degree or professional certification in Learning Development, HR, Organisational Development, or a related field is desirable.
  • Additional qualifications in instructional design, coaching, or digital learning tools would be advantageous.
