Learning Design Lead

Our client, a leading organisation known for delivering cutting-edge and impactful solutions, is seeking a Senior Learning Designer to become an integral part of their team.This critical position involves spearheading the creation and delivery of innovative digital learning experiences. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will define project requirements, draft detailed specifications, uphold quality benchmarks, and manage deliverables. The role also includes mentoring team members, fostering innovation, and promoting a high-performance culture.This role requires overseas travel for client meetings

Responsibilities

 
  • Partner with clients and internal teams to design and deliver engaging digital learning solutions that align with objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive learning strategies and frameworks for major projects.
  • Define the scope of learning content and produce detailed design specifications.
  • Monitor project outcomes to ensure they meet established quality and timeline standards.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to Learning Design team members, supporting their growth and development.
  • Enhance team capabilities by conducting peer reviews, onboarding new colleagues, and sharing best practices.

Skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in e-learning tools like Articulate Storyline and Evolve, as well as instructional design methodologies.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities combined with effective communication skills.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and learning experience platforms (LXP), along with an understanding of UX/UI principles.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining high standards under tight deadlines.
  • a collaborative mindset to work effectively across diverse teams

Experience

  • At least 2-3 years experience developing engaging learning content.
  • Demonstrated success in leading a team within a learning and development environment.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering innovative, interactive digital learning experiences.

Education

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in multimedia design, instructional design, or a related field is preferred

Ensuring resources are available for improving performance, tagging and placing them within the context of the workflow and need as an output of performance consulting, the information architecture and learning solution design.
