Account Manager

Are you a high-performing Account Manager whos passionate about building strong relationships? If so, this could be the role for you!In this role, you will work closely with existing customers to act as a trusted advisor, ensuring customers receive ongoing value from the companys learning solutions. This role involves a mix of strategic partnership, contract management, account expansion, and proactive customer engagement. You will be responsible for retention, growth, and advocacy within key accounts, working collaboratively across teams to optimise customer success.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all commercial aspects of client relationships, including contract amendments, pipeline development, pricing, negotiations, and securing contract signatures.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand existing accounts by introducing new solutions to key buyers.
  • Build strong, strategic relationships with multiple contacts and decision-makers within customer organisations.
  • Assist clients in planning the deployment and utilisation of licensed solutions to maximize effectiveness.
  • Run outbound prospecting campaigns to supplement inbound leads and uncover new opportunities during business reviews.
  • Monitor client health metrics, analyse usage data, and recommend improvements to enhance value delivery.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with customer stakeholders to assess progress and ensure alignment with their goals.
  • Track and report all activities in Salesforce.com for accurate sales forecasting and pipeline development.
  • Represent customer feedback and insights to internal teams, including product, content, and technology, to drive continuous improvement.

Skills

  • Strong ability to develop relationships and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with system interfaces.
  • Experience using Salesforce.com and sales methodologies.
  • Strong ethical standards and a commitment to helping organisations uphold integrity and best practices.
  • Ability to bring clarity, structure, and discipline to complex projects and client interactions.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years in client-facing account management, with a track record of retaining and expanding existing accounts.
  • Experience supporting users of a SaaS business application.
  • Experience working with learning platforms and learning solutions.

Education

  • Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential
