Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders in client organisations, understanding their objectives, challenges, and needs
  • Identify and capitalise on upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts to drive growth
  • Develop strategic plans for account growth and retention that align with the company's and clients' goals
  • Proactively manage the renewal process for subscription-based accounts, anticipating challenges and ensuring high retention rates
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Support to create and implement strategies for organic growth and exceptional client satisfaction
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company’s solutions to effectively communicate value propositions to clients
  • Track key performance indicators related to account health, adoption, and customer success, and use data insights to drive improvements
  • Drive continuous improvement in account management processes to enhance overall efficiency and impact

Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently engage with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Exceptional organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities while adapting to changing demands
  • A passion for customer success and a deep understanding of the customer lifecycle, from acquisition to retention
  • Proven ability to drive growth, renewals, and customer satisfaction

Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in account management, within the learning technology industry
  • A proven track record of achieving revenue growth and retention targets
  • Experience with managing subscription-based accounts and handling renewals

Education

  • Any LD related qualifications are desirable but not essential
