We are working with a leading training provider who create digital/face to face learning solutions targeted at the financial services and compliance sector. They are looking for an experienced and motivated Business Development Executive to join the team and play a crucial part in the ongoing success of the business. The role will focus on new business development and growing existing accounts.

  • Follow up warm leads (website enquires) passed on from the Marketing Team
  • Focus on lead generation and business development
  • Increase sales with existing client base (cross sell to existing customers and advise them on any new product/feature releases)
  • Manage and update the internal CRM
  • Write PowerPoint proposals/email proposals for new customers
  • Nurture new/existing accounts and focus on customer retention
  • Search out new opportunities and conduct good, exploratory value-driven telephone conversations that are well qualified and lead to solid outcomes
  • Handle incoming telephone training enquiries


  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Targets driven
  • Skilled and proven in outbound/inbound lead and demand generation
  • Ability to quickly understand a customers business challenges and propose the appropriate learning solution


  • An all-round interest in e-learning and learning technology
  • Demonstrable experience working with customers in the financial services or compliance sector is desirable
  • Previous experience working in a sales role focusing on leaddemand generation
  • Demonstrable experience using CRMs such as Salesforce
  • Sales success in a high growth B2B technology provider


  • Educated to degree level or equivalent is beneficial


  • Relevant sales and/or finance and compliance qualifications are extremely advantageous
