Learning and Development Project Manager

A great opportunity to join a specialist provider of IT and technical sales focused learning solutions. As part of their growth plans, they are hiring an L&D project manager who will be responsible for taking the lead in putting together and maintaining learning programmes with a focus on sales and IT related subjects.

Responsibilities

  • Liaising with key clients to understand their virtual and blended learning requirements.
  • Managing the development of projects, ensuring they are time managed, in-budget and meet the quality levels.
  • Taking the lead in securing the completion of client specific technical training projects.
  • Managing the ongoing success of external stakeholders and continue to build upon the relationship.
  • Securing training events between client and external stakeholders have been confirmed and scheduled.
  • Collaborating with trainers and facilitators to map out the training formats and content.

Skills

  • A creative and decisive individual with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Able to demonstrate client, project, and resource management.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
  • An organised individual with great time management skills

Experience

  • Experience in working within the LD industry for a minimum of three years, ideally with a background in IT or Sales.
  • A track record in project management within LD, including virtual learning virtual classroom and digital learning.
  • Proficient experience in managing and maintaining great relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in effectively engaging with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects are managed to a successful conclusion.

Education

  • Project management qualifications e.g. PRINCE2, Agile, Waterfall are an advantage but are not essential
