New Business Development Manager

£45K-£55K basic salary - £70K-£90K OTE

An exciting opportunity within a global provider of sales enablement training. You will develop new name opportunities and sell bespoke blended training programmes. This new role offers flexible working with just two days a week in their office.

This role requires previous experience selling into IT vendors.

Key responsibilities

  • You’ll identify and prospect new clients, managing your own client base, and undertaking all business development duties
  • You’ll consultatively sell bespoke solutions in the form of workshops, virtual classroom and elearning
  • In this Senior position you’ll be expected to manage your own pipeline consistently and effectively
  • Hit and exceed a sales target of around £450K in your first year
  • Account manage existing customer by providing outstanding customer service and ensuring growth when required


  • Any sales training qualifications are desirable


  • Educated to degree level or equivalent is desirable


  • 3-5 years’ experience in a B2B environment selling learning solutions
  • Ideally, you’ll have an excellent understanding/interest in different technologies
  • Experience selling sales enablement programmes is highly advantageous but not essential
  • Considerable experience working within L&D/e-learning environments
  • Confidently generate new business leads and convert warm leads
  • Have a consultative sales approach and be comfortable creating solutions from scratch with prospect clients
  • Experience hitting a personal sales target (c£450K)
