A leading provider of professional qualifications is now seeking an LMS Manager to support and develop their Moodle LMS platform. You may already have experience in a similar role, or currently an LMS administrator seeking career progression? Based in London however this position can be fully remote based.

Responsibilities

  • Optimising E-Learning systems application and solutions.
  • Documenting the operation and support processes and procedures related to the E-Learning systems’ application and environment,
  • Investigating and resolving E-Learning systems and server environment errors,
  • Establish policies, processes and procedures related to maintenance
  • Develop, update, and upgrade, E-Learning systems and their environment.
  • Taking calls and emails from customers relating to support enquires for Moodle LMS product suite, including the E-Learning platform
  • Overseeing relationships with vendors and host providers, enforcing SLAs and supporting expectations.
  • Responding to customer enquiries to agreed SLAs, prioritising and escalating as deemed necessary.
  • Working with other IT areas and/or third-party services to maintain secure, highly available and fault-tolerant E-Learning systems.
  • To communicate with customers such that they understand the priority, path to resolution and progress of issues.
  • Notifying the Moodle LMS Developer(s). of bugs and errors not related to training or configuration.
  • Escalating service standard queries and complaints to the relevant stakeholder. 
  • Creating and maintaining a range of customer-focussed FAQs, Help Guides and other documentation and keeping up to date with latest product developments and best practice.
  • To provide customers with web-conference training in the use of the Moodle LMS products and also offering face-to-face training for both customers and internal team members.
  • To drive development of the Moodle LMS, striving for improvements and defining further projects.
  • Review and evaluate business, process and system analysis, identifying and defining opportunity for improvement
  • Provide technical Moodle consultancy to the Digital and Education leadership team on new business plans and operating models which will enable plans to be delivered and ensure operational efficiency.
  • To keep up-to-date records for service level monitoring.
  • Create specification documentation informing technical delivery and inform internal stakeholders on technical design, development and business cases

Skills

  • Previous experience as a Moodle administrator
  • Accustomed to operating customised Moodle LMS systems
  • Experience with and passion for customer experience and user centred design principles
  • Excellent presentation skills
