We have an amazing opportunity with a charity who are seeking an experienced Training & Events Coordinator to join their organisation. Your mission will be to deliver professional development programmes and events (virtually and in-person), as well as providing support to users on the orgnisation’s LMS. This role will require travel into London office 2-3 days with flexibility for home working the remainder of the week.

  • Provide effective operational support for the delivery of the training programmes and events
  • Organise the logistics of the training events and prepare any materials needed e.g. handouts and PowerPoint slides
  • Liaise with venues to manage resources required for the events
  • Act as a first point of contact for learners attending the event, dealing with any queries they may have
  • Manage the relationship with the external programme accreditation providers and lead on the leadership development programme quality assurance process
  • Contribute to the management and day to day administration of the organisation’s LMS and suggest improvements in ways to use it
  • Upload learning content onto the LMS, create events, assign permissions to users and report on user engagement
  • Work with multiple relevant internal and external stakeholders


  • Superb communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Motivated and resilient individual who takes pride in their work
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications 
  • Highly organised with strong project management/coordinating skills and excellent attention to detail


  • 1-2 years experience of coordinating training events, both virtual and classroom
  • Experience of administering an LMSVLE e.g. Moodle, Totara, ThinQi
  • Skilled in coordinating virtual classrooms on Zoom, Teams or similar platforms, with experience of organising breakout rooms, polling, etc
  • Experience of using the Adobe CC Suite to create digital content is desirable but not essential


  • Educated to degree level or equivalent


  • Project management or events management qualifications are desirable but not essential
