Account Manager – Blended Learning

£30K-£33K + £45K OTE and excellent benefits

A fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, global provider of blended learning solutions, including an extensive portfolio of digital learning content and virtual classroom offerings.

As part of the account management team, you will be responsible for qualifying client needs, strengthening relationships and maximising revenue opportunities. A minimum of two years of experience within L&D sales, consistently achieving personal sales targets is required.

Key responsibilities

  • Managing client accounts, including acting with speed, accuracy and insight in order to manage the customers expectations, develop a relationship and add value
  • Collaborate with the wider business development team to win and develop a revenue stream focused on client’s needs
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the company’s capabilities and how their services can help your targeted clients, specifically focusing on the digital offerings
  • Act as the face of the business when communicating with prospects and selling the companies new products or services
  • Consult with key stakeholders to identify and sell relevant solutions which meet different customer’s needs
  • Track sales performance and workflow on the CRM
  • Work closely with the marketing team regarding new product sales campaigns, client profiling and identifying potential case study scenarios.

Qualifications

  • Relevant sales or account management qualifications advantageous

Education

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent is beneficial

Experience

  • Demonstrable experience writing proposals, hunting for business opportunities and growing a portfolio of key accounts
  • Ideally have experience achieving personal sales targets in the region of £300K to £500K per annum
  • Previous experience using CRM systems (such as Salesforce or similar) to record and track sales performance and orders
  • 2 years’ minimum experience in a sales focused role within the L&D arena, including e-learning, blended learning or learning (SaaS) platforms

  • Able to self-manage performance and productivity in a highly competitive, fast paced, sales environment
  • Able to scope out clients needs and offer the appropriate solution
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills both with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills on the telephone, face-to-face and in writing
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills
