Digital Learning Designer

We are working with a company in the third sector who have recently launched a new learning management system and are on a mission to transform the way they deliver training across the business

They are now looking to recruit a Digital Learning Designer who is experienced in the end-to-end learning life cycle. From consulting with senior stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts, to applying digital learning best practice and creating engaging eLearning materials as well as consulting on how the business can best utilise the new LMS.

Key responsibilities

  • Design new effective e-learning interventions using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Vyond, Camtasia and the Adobe Suite
  • Liaise with and advise senior stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Consult with SME’s to script and storyboard your ideas
  • Advise on new ways to improve how the business uses the LMS
  • Ensure content is accurate, aligned to the business needs and of the highest standard
  • Apply instructional design theory and best practice

Qualifications

  • Relevant design/development qualifications are advantageous

Education

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent is beneficial

Experience

  • An all-round interest in e-learning and learning technology
  • 2-3 years' experience within an Instructional Designer or Digital Learning Designer role
  • Previous experience working with senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrable experience with Rapid Authoring Tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline, Adobe)
  • Existing HMTL or CSS experience is extremely advantageous
  • Experience working with learning platforms such as Totara, Cornerstone, Moodle etc.
