Quality Assurance Specialist – Learning and Development

We are working with a creative learning agency who have gone from strength to strength over the last few of years and have achieved several awards for their amazing work. Their team is continuously growing and this is your opportunity to be part of an incredible team, offering some of the most innovative and coolest learning in the sector.

Your main focus would be assuring the quality of written work, ensuring there are no punctuation or grammatical errors throughout the learning content along with testing HTML.

Key responsibilities

  • Build a culture of quality and accuracy across the team
  • Develop, own and maintain QA processes
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure high quality throughout the development lifecycle - from proposal to delivery
  • Review and analyse outputs from the learning team including modules and scripts from a technical and functional perspective
  • Collaborate with the wider team to develop effective strategies and test plans
  • Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyse results
  • Evaluate technical specifications for each client (checking for grammatical or spelling errors)
  • Document testing phases and defects
  • Logging bugs and errors
  • Help troubleshoot issues
  • Implement processes for post-release / post-implementation testing
  • Onboard new starters in QA processes

Qualifications

  • N/A

Education

  • English language degree or equivalent

Experience

  • Proven experience in a Quality Assurance Tester or Copy Writer type of role
  • Experience in project management and QA methodology for learning content
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
  • Working knowledge of test management software

Skills

  • Knowledge of the learning industry is essential
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail with an analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
