Learning & Development Supervisor

A brilliant opportunity has arisen for a Learning & Development Supervisor to join a well-established business, looking to expand their learning offering for internal employees. In this hands-on and strategic role, youll be responsible for leading the learning function, designing and delivering a blended learning strategy that includes technical training, soft skills, accredited learning, and apprenticeships. Working closely with key internal stakeholders, youll shape the training framework, support compliance, and promote employee growth within a fast-paced and innovative organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive learning strategy across technical and soft skills training, accredited learning, and apprenticeships
  • Lead the creation and ongoing delivery of a technical training framework for remote teams, including training manuals, documentation, and e-learning content
  • Design and implement leadership development programmes and personal growth initiatives
  • Oversee the management of accredited qualifications and apprenticeship programmes
  • Ensure all training programmes meet UK legislation and compliance requirements, including health and safety, diversity and inclusion, and data protection
  • Act as a coach and mentor, supporting individual career progression and fostering a continuous learning culture
  • Partner with senior leaders and HR to identify training needs, close skill gaps, and align learning solutions with business objectives
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and report on learning outcomes and improvements

Skills

  • Knowledge of instructional design models (e.g. ADDIE) and experience developing engaging content
  • Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • A genuine passion for learning and development

Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in Learning Development, training, or HR
  • A proven track record in designing and implementing impactful training programmes
  • Experience working with LMS and e-learning tools

Education

  • A CIPD qualification or similar desirable
