Global Learning & Development Manager

Our client, a growing fintech organisation are looking for an experienced and passionate Learning & Development (L&D) Manager to join their HR team in this newly created, standalone L&D role. You will take full ownership of the global L&D strategy. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape learning, performance, and development initiatives that support our people and business goals.As the L&D Manager, you will partner with managers and people teams across the business to understand the learning needs, and design and deliver impactful L&D programmes that drive transformation, culture, and talent development. You will also play a key role in building a learning culture within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement L&D programmes that meet the needs of their global workforce.
  • Manage and leverage the Learning Management System (LMS) to create content, courses, and training materials.
  • Design and deliver management training programmes focused on leadership, performance management and communication
  • Act as the L&D subject matter expert, staying up to date with the latest trends and best practices
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create engaging training sessions and workshops
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of training programmes, continuously improving for better ROI
  • Support talent management, performance management, and succession planning initiatives

Skills

  • Exceptional presentation, coaching, and communication skills, with the ability to engage global audiences
  • A data-driven mindset, comfortable measuring impact and managing budgets
  • Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
  • A flexible, solution-focused approach, with the ability to influence at all levels

Experience

  • Proven experience as an LD Manager, ideally in a global setting
  • Strong knowledge and experience of LD practices, training design, and facilitation
  • Expertise in managing and leveraging LMS platforms to create tailored learning experiences.

Education

  • LD qualifications are desirable but not essential

Specifying, sourcing, ordering and receiving supplies, services and assets required for L&D activities. Building and maintaining supplier relationships and managing supplier performance. Managing operating and capital budget allocated to L&D.

Manage L&D resources
4 – Strategic

Ensuring adequate capacity, availability and optimal utilisation of people, facilities and equipment to meet current and future organisational learning requirements and provide a seamless end-to-end customer experience.

Manage technology for learning
4 – Strategic

Working with others to manage the technology strategy, roadmap and tools used to enable the individual and organisational learning and performance needs of today – and the innovations of tomorrow.
