Responsibilities
- Identify, develop and close new business opportunities via both outbound lead generation and conversion of inbound leads.
- Harness your network of senior contacts in L&D and related areas to develop relationships and maximise revenue opportunities
- Achieve revenue targets agreed with the senior management team
- Utilise consultative sales techniques to engage with and sell to mid and senior level contacts and prospects within multinational organisations
- Proactively develop and manage sales forecast and pipeline
- Collaborate on marketing initiatives, to develop creative and targeted promotional activities
- Research target market sectors, potential areas of sales growth, industry trends etc.
- Work remotely but proactively, to help shape your role
Skills
- Consultative sales skills, developed in a L&D solutions focused role
- Proven ability to achieve annual personal revenues of £600K (min), selling bespoke and tailored L&D programmes
- A strong network of senior level contacts and relationships within the HR and L&D arena
- Adaptable and agile, a true team player
- A strong knowledge of, and genuine passion in L&D
- Proven ability to build rapport quickly and develop long term relationships
- A self-starter, able to work autonomously when required
- A quick learner and good problem solver with a creative mindset
- Resilient, tenacious, energetic and ambitious
- Excellent verbal and written English skills
Experience
- A minimum of three years experience selling management, leadership or related learning solutions
- Proven track record succeeding in a B2B sales role within the commercial LD arena
- Achievement of annual personal sales targets, not less than 600K
- Knowledge and understanding of the LD sector with the ability to consultatively engage and sell
- An impressive network of mid to senior LDHR decision makers
- Proven ability of selling to the Corporate Sector
Education
- A degree level or equivalent qualification would be an advantage
