Senior Learning Designer - Ireland based

Our client, a prominent organisation dedicated to delivering innovative and impactful solutions, is seeking a Senior Learning Designer to join their team. This pivotal role involves leading the design and delivery of creative digital learning solutions. You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to define project scope, develop specifications, uphold quality standards, and oversee deliverables. Additionally, this role includes mentoring team members, driving innovation, and fostering a culture of excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to design and deliver creative digital learning solutions aligned with project objectives.
  • Design comprehensive learning design models and strategies for strategic projects.
  • Define learning content scope and write comprehensive learning design specifications.
  • Oversee project deliverables, ensuring quality standards and timelines are met.
  • Act as a mentor and coach to Learning Design team members, providing guidance and support throughout development.
  • Contribute to team development through peer reviews, onboarding new team members, and sharing best practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement through proposals, tenders, and throuhh leadership activities such as publishing articles and hosting events

Skills

  • Attention to detail with exceptional written and communication skills.
  • Expertise in e-learning authoring tools e.g. Articulate Storyline and Evolve, and instructional design methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with learning platforms, including LMS/LXP, and knowledge of UX/UI principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and maintain high-quality output under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively across teams.

Experience

  • 2 to 3 years experience in developing engaging learning content
  • Proven experience in leading a team within a learning development environment.
  • Track record of creating innovative, interactive digital learning solutions.

Education

  • A degree of equivalent in multimedia design, instructional design, or a related field is desirable
