Senior Learning Content Developer

Our client, a leading organisation organisation that focuses on governance, strategic leadership and community development, is looking for Senior Learning Content Developer to join their Learning and Development (L&D) team.Within this role you will drive the creation and delivery of engaging, innovative digital learning solutions. You will manage and mentor a small team, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and utilise the latest learning technologies to support both learner needs and organisational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop dynamic digital learning experiences, ensuring they align with adult learning principles and organisational objectives.
  • Mentor and lead a small team of Learning Developers, fostering creativity and high-quality learning design.
  • Develop multimedia learning content, including e-learning modules, graphics, animations, and branding.
  • Leverage platforms such as LXP/LMS to deliver seamless learning experiences optimised for both desktop and mobile users.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including SMEs, to align content with strategic objectives.
  • Use data and insights to inform learning content design and drive iterative improvements.
  • Analyse the effectiveness of learning solutions and implement enhancements to optimise outcomes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trends in digital learning and instructional technology to drive innovation

Skills

  • Attention to detail with exceptional written and communication skills.
  • Proficient in e-learning authoring tools such as Adapt and Articulate Storyline 360 and content management systems.
  • Strong graphic design and multimedia development skills, including video editing and animation.
  • Familiarity with learning platforms such as LXP and LMS, and understanding of UX/UI principles.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively across teams

Experience

  • 2 to 3 years experience in developing engaging learning content
  • Proven experience in leading a team within a learning development environment.
  • Track record of creating innovative, interactive digital learning solutions.

Education

  • A degree of equivalent in multimedia design, instructional design, or a related field is desirable
