An outstanding opportunity with an international L&D solutions provider seeking a proactive and consultative sales professional to drive revenues from new business and some existing clients within the UK and Europe. A proven sales track record within L&D, coupled with the ability to develop and close opportunities with corporate clients is essential. Joining an existing team, you will be reporting directly to the CEO.

Responsibilities

  • Achieving and exceeding personal revenue targets circa £500K to £1M
  • Contacting and building rapport and credibility with senior level executives
  • Adopting a consultative sales approach to closing business
  • Proactively target and penetrate new accounts
  • Managing and developing existing client accounts
  • Helping to create persuasive and high quality sales bids and proposals
  • Attending sales meetings when appropriate
  • Presenting to clients and leading negotiations
  • Ensuring that personal sales forecasts are accurately maintained
  • Researching sources for developing prospective clients and existing clients
  • Developing and submitting client development plans
  • Collaborating with internal departments (e.g. Marketing, IT etc.)

Skills

  • Excellent face-to-face sales and presentation skills
  • Solutions driven, possessing consultative sales ability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of MSOffice (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • High level of gravitas with proven ability to build rapport with senior contacts

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years within a consultative sales role LD industry
  • Proven ability to achieve minimum revenues targets of 500K per annum
  • Adept at managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
  • A degree or equivalent qualification would be preferred but not essential

Education

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent would be preferred but not essential

Qualifications

  • Relevant Sales qualifications are advantageous
