Sales Development Representative

An outstanding career opportunity with a global, fast growing provider of learning technologies looking to hire a sales professional with a proven track record within learning technologies and digital learning. The role will entail generating new business, identifying, and researching leads and discovering outbound opportunities via business development activities. Working closely with the wider sales team, including Account Managers and Client Success Managers, you will be an integral part of the company’s continued impressive growth, including progression opportunities into account management focused positions. Occasional visits to both the London office and client sites may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Build and develop client relationships within the SaaS, digital learning or learning technology field
  • Increase market presence by meeting and exceeding revenue targets
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders and influencers within targeted companies
  • Develop email and telephone campaigns
  • Progress cold and warm leads
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecasting reports
  • Create and implement account development plans
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction
  • Conduct telephone calls, video calls and presentations to clients
  • Generate sales proposals, quotations
  • Organise and conduct demonstrations where appropriate

Skills

  • Excellent telephone manner and questioning skills
  • Results driven, self-motivated
  • Proven sales and business development capability in a B2B setting
  • Excellent rapport and relationship building skills
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Enthusiastic with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Experience

  • Experience in a B2B role is essential
  • Proven track record achieving personal sales targets
  • Experience within the commercial training LD arena is an advantage
  • Demonstrable experience working within the EdTech industry
  • Previous experience selling SaaS solutions is extremely advantageous

Education

  • Educated to A level or equivalent is beneficial

Qualifications

  • Relevant Sales qualifications are advantageous
