Digital Director

£45K - £50K Basic Salary

We have an outstanding opportunity with a hugely inspiring charitable organisation for a dynamic and creative Digital Director. You will have a wealth of experience in training operations and experience managing a portfolio of learning interventions, (face to face, digital and virtual). You will understand how to run a training operation (logistics, facilitators, materials etc.) and you can articulate a vision for a blended portfolio. If you have the passion for and interest in planning the digitisation of learning content then this is the role for you!

Your role will be to develop the learning portfolio, programmes and content, and lead the use of technology to digitise the purchase of training interventions through the website helping to drive B2C and B2B revenue engagements. You will have the opportunity to use your understanding of managing a training function, marketing a training offering (internally or externally) and driving engagement to drive revenue for an exceptionally important charitable mission.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop the learning portfolio and plan for business growth
  • Define and plan for portfolio growth, face to face, digital and virtual scenarios
  • Marketing and communications planning for courses, launches and learner engagement
  • Work with the internal subject matter experts to construct learning solutions that facilitate engagement with the end user
  • Work with colleagues to lead the design of a customer/learner led platform for accessing learning interventions
  • Identify gaps in the learning portfolio through engaging with key stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Project Management qualifications are advantageous

Education

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • CIPD is advantageous

Experience

  • Experience developing and implementing digital strategies and taking event driven learning to market
  • Commercial experience of growing a training portfolio
  • A background in training, learning and development
  • Experience working with membership systems advantageous
