We are looking for a number of experienced Learning Designers to join our digital team on an initial 18 month fixed term contract. Your mission is to help us to develop our eLearning content for engineering maintenance and repair courseware, ensuring that it is best in class.

Responsibilities

  • Apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design to the project’s deliverables.
  • Create clearly defined learning objectives aligned to the Regulation that focus on the development of knowledge, attitudes and skills.
  • Decide on most appropriate type of digital learning outputs needed to meet set objectives.
  • Create engaging storyboards for synchronous and asynchronous learning outputs that match set objectives, enhance the learning process, and measure the effectiveness of the course
  • Create a list of resources needed to create identified learning outputs.
  • Work closely with team leads, project manager, eLearning developers, instructors, and graphic designers to ensure smooth running & progress of work

Skills

  • A proven ability with a range of eLearning content creation tools
  • Experience of creating storyboards for eLearning content.
  • Experience with Camtasia or similar screen capture software tools.
  • Experience with image, video and audio editing; ideally using Adobe tools.
  •  Experience of simple animated video production.

Experience

  • A proven ability with a range of eLearning content creation tools
  • Experience of creating storyboards for eLearning content.

Education

  • Candidates should have relevant professional qualifications, have an excellent command of the English language written and oral and have experience of creating a range of digital learning content.
