Business Development Manager

£35K-£45K Basic Salary + £60K OTE

Our Client are a global L&D consultancy who create bespoke, blended courses for a number of different subject matter. They are looking to expand their team of sales professionals who will work with clients in an extremely consultative sales manner.

Key responsibilities

  • Work closely with clients to understand business needs and consultatively sell bespoke blended solutions
  • Follow the opportunities through from initial contact through to account manager /customer success after a sale has been secured
  • Work with current accounts to develop opportunities and explore new prospect avenues
  • Design innovative proposals and deliver client pitches when needed
  • Generate new business opportunities when needed and confidently make the initial approach
  • Positively portray the company values at all times and continue to grow the client brand

Qualifications

  • Any sales training qualifications are desirable

Education

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent is desirable

Experience

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a B2B environment selling digital learning solutions
  • Considerable experience working within L&D/e-learning environments
  • Good knowledge of digital assets (video, HTML5, elearning packages etc.)
  • Proven experience selling to c-suite/board level clients
  • Experience following a project through the entire sales cycle and beyond
  • Proven experience hitting a personal sales target (c£500K)
