Business Development Executive

£25K-£28K Basic Salary + £40K OTE

Our client is a very well established provider of training solutions, delivering a wide range of training programmes. They are currently seeking an enthusiastic sales professional with proven experience in B2B (commercial) sales.

Key responsibilities

  • Proactive, outbound telephone calls to new, dormant and existing prospects and clients
  • Present the company’s training solutions in a consultative manner
  • Structure professional, compelling proposals and responses to tenders
  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline
  • Forecast sales pipeline revenue closure accurately
  • Nurture existing client relationships
  • Meet and exceed personal sales targets
  • Ensure that all customer requests are dealt with in an accurate and timely manner.

Candidate’s requirements

  • Successful track record in commercial sales
  • Minimum of one years’ experience selling training services preferred
  • Proactive and consultative approach to sales
  • Excellent questioning, listening and telephone skills
  • Good verbal and general communication skills
  • Self- motivated, target driven
  • Confident dealing at senior management level
  • Computer and technology literate, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Effective organisational skills
