This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Inside Sales Professional to join an expanding successful inside sales team. Our client has a global footprint and is at the forefront of cloud-based learning for the corporate and public sectors. The Inside Sales Consultant will be responsible for conducting research and innovative cold calling techniques to generate and manage an effective client pipeline of SME clients within the DACH region.

Key responsibilities

We are seeking graduate level sales professionals with a minimum of four years experience of business to business sales and demonstrable achievement in winning new business. Upon successful completion of the in-house training programme, incumbents will embark upon a rewarding career as “hunters”; bringing their prospecting skills to a new level. They will walk prospective clients through the entire sales cycle beginning with prospecting and concluding with a customised business solution for a new customer.

You will:

  • Collaborate with field sales team to perform research and other intelligence gathering in support of prospecting activity
  • Conduct proactive outbound contact campaigns (phone and email) to dive deeply into existing prospects
  • Closely monitor and assess prospects as they move through the sales pipeline
  • Support regionalisation of select marketing demand generation activities
  • Contact, qualify and nurture inbound leads generated by marketing campaigns
  • Extensively use CRM tools  (experience of Salesforce would be an advantage)

Candidate’s requirements

  • Minimum of four years B2B Inside Sales experience
  • A native German speaker or DACH experience
  • Proficient at gathering intelligence through primary and secondary sources
  • An excellent new business prospector
  • Successful direct sales, telesales, or sales support experience, Energetic and proactive
  • A history of exceeding monthly sales quotas for a 12 month period
  • Works with a sense of urgency and has a positive, winning attitude
  • Able to work with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity
  • Strong cold calling and prospecting skills
  • Business to business sales experience
  • Formal and demonstrable understanding of Solution based, Consultative Selling
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Preferably degree qualification in a business or IT related subject
