Learning and Development Specialist

£40K - £55K Basic Salary + Benefits

A unique opportunity to join a world leading organisation delivering a learning strategy across EMEA.

We are looking for a L&D Specialist who can design cutting edge learning approaches across a range of skill areas. You will contribute to learning design and facilitation of key initiatives across Europe, Middle East and Africa for internal employees. Interest and willingness to travel globally as needed is essential.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and create engaging learning initiatives
  • Assess needs, develop learning plans and coordinate delivery accordingly
  • Serve as a subject matter expert when required
  • Facilitate training sessions including classroom, virtual classroom, small and large groups
  • Create new learning activities exploring the use of eLearning, classroom, video, coaching guides and virtual sessions
  • Ensure programs are world-class and learner centric by using a range of adult learning principles
  • Collaborating with external vendors inside and outside of the organisation to create bespoke learning solutions
  • Use appropriate development techniques and incorporate best practice processes

Candidate’s requirements

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Ability to identify appropriate learning solutions by conducting learning needs analysis
  • Must be a strong influencer who can comfortably engage with senior stakeholders and business leaders
  • Good knowledge of available learning solutions and how these can be used to improve business performance
  • Able to design and develop learning using multiple delivery methods e.g. virtual classroom, eLearning and videos
  • Ability to evaluate the effectiveness of the learning content
  • Previous experience in project and task management
  • A professional, credible individual who has the ability to prioritise workload and seek solutions for continual improvements
  • Interest and willingness to travel globally as needed
