£25K- £35K Basic Salary + £50K- £70K OTE

An exciting opportunity exists within a growing training and events organisation for an enthusiastic Business Development Manager looking for their next career move.

This consultative role will focus on developing professional relationships and shaping the sales direction of the business.

Key responsibilities

  • Build relationships with new and existing customers
  • Develop a sales strategy and conduct research to identify new markets
  • Meet with existing and prospective clients
  • Provide accurate lead generation forecasts and pipeline
  • Updating the CRM system to ensure all information is current and up to data
  • Support and develop sales and customer service staff within the business

Candidate’s requirements

  • Degree level qualification or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years in a business development role ideally within training, e-learning or learning and development
  • Proven sales track record
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Natural rapport building skills
  • Confident and articulate telephone manner
  • Target driven
  • Self-motivated
  • Commercial (B2B) experience would be an advantage
