L&D Client Relationship Manager

£40K-£45K + £60K-£90K OTE

A market leading provider of learning and development solutions with an enviable client base is seeking a proven, consultative relationship builder with a proven track record and a genuine interest in advising clients on appropriate training solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and develop existing accounts within UK and European corporates
  • Be the primary contact for client and undertake regular client meetings
  • Utilise account profiling and development skills and best practice
  • Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities via consultative sales and trust building
  • Gain ‘trusted advisor’ status within existing clients
  • Achievement of targets based in increased spend in allocated accounts
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including project teams to service and implement client solutions
  • Ensure all records are kept up to date in CRM system
  • Create and manage campaigns for the sector focus accounts in UK and European markets
  • Gain a detailed knowledge of the industry including competitors, industry forums etc.
  • Effectively analyse client data and market demographics

Candidate’s requirements

  • Minimum of three years in a client relationship building capacity within the learning and development sector
  • A genuine interest in learning and development and relevant solutions
  • Proven track record using a consultative, solutions focused approach to relationship building within training, L&D, e-learning
  • Proven credibility at senior level within corporate environment
  • Client focused with excellent service levels
  • Track record of achieving personal sales targets
  • Proven ability to analyse clients and map a complex set of solutions to meet expectations and needs
  • Experience of selling bespoke solutions at C-level to client contacts
  • Good presence and respectable level of ‘gravitas’
  • Excellent questioning, listening and analytical skills
  • Good proposal writing and presentation skills
