An excellent opportunity with a fast growing, international provider of learning solutions, seeking an accomplished lead generation and sales professional. You will ‘own’ and drive forward the lead generation process and report directly to the UK Sales Director. Your role will entail qualifying inbound leads resulting from Marketing activity, proactively engaging with professional social networking technology and groups, conducting research and securing meetings for the sales team via in-depth telephone calls with prospective clients. Progression to Account Management role on success.

Key responsibilities

• Qualifying and developing leads resulting from Marketing initiatives
• Understand the challenges of prospective clients and move opportunities to the sales team
• Conduct proactive research, account profiling and targeting
• Acting as the conduit between Marketing and Sales teams
• Ensure that the CRM system is populated with current and relevant information
• Collaborate with the Marketing team and effectively utilise marketing tools and technology
• Provide members of the sales team with all of the required information for effective follow up calls and meetings
• Working within an international, multi-cultural team

Candidate’s requirements

• Excellent rapport building, questioning, listening and telephone skills
• Adept at profiling prospect companies for key stakeholders and decision makers.
• Some experience of L&D, learning technologies or similar
• Experience in a B2B sales or lead generation role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to articulate ideas effectively to colleagues
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word with experience of using CRM systems
• Adept at using professional networking tools, such as LinkedIn
