Sales Executive - eLearning and L&D Solutions

£35K Basic + £50K OTE

Excellent career opportunity for an ambitious sales professional looking to build on their consultative sales skills and sell to both UK based and international companies. You will possess an accomplished track record in business development, selling to senior decision makers such as Heads of L&D, Chief Learning Officers (CLO’s). The role is new business focused, largely office based but with a remit to meet clients when the scope of the opportunity is appropriate. Deal sizes will vary but typically range from £5K to £50K.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, initiate, develop and close business opportunities with new clients
• Achieve defined revenue (circa £250K per annum Year 1) and profit targets
• Identify and build relationships with senior L&D and related decision makers
• Build and Produce accurate sales pipeline and sales forecasts
• Initiate and drive the sales process
• Develop strong, long term client relationships that build incremental revenue

Candidate’s requirements

• Successful track record selling software or learning solutions
• Minimum of two years commercial (B2B) sales experience
• Consistent achievement of personal annual sales target of circa £250K per annum (Year 1) or above
• Dynamic, target driven and money motivated
• Tenacious, possessing a high degree of personal initiative
• Good communicator, able to build trust with all senior decision makers
• Adept at building rapport quickly
• Able to win both short term, tactical deals and longer term, strategic client wins (typically deal sizes from £5K to £50K).
• Possessing consultative sales skills
• Fast learner with the ability to absorb technical information
• Experience selling licence based software deals would be of interest
