An outstanding career opportunity for an ambitious sales professional looking to join a dynamic, target driven sales team in a successful, growing business. You will manage and grow existing client accounts but primarily focus on new business development, positioning and closing sales of innovative training and blended learning programmes. Excellent commission earning potential.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, initiate, develop and close business opportunities with new clients
• Manage and grow existing accounts
• Achieve defined revenue (circa £250K to £300K per annum) and profit targets
• Identify and build relationships with senior influencers and decision makers
• Produce accurate sales pipeline and sales forecasts
• Initiate and drive the sales process from lead generation to close
• Identify new leads via telephone calls, networking, research, referrals etc.
• Continue to proactively manage and grow newly won accounts
• Keep the CRM database up to date
• Attend client meetings and conducting presentations as and when necessary
• Provide excellent customer service at all times

Candidate’s requirements

• Successful track record selling learning solutions (e.g. classroom training, digital learning, blended learning)
• Minimum of two years commercial (B2B) sales experience
• Excellent telephone manner
• Consistent achievement of personal annual sales target of at least £250K per annum
• Dynamic, target driven and commission motivated
• Tenacious, possessing a high degree of personal initiative
• Good communicator, able to build trust with all senior decision makers
• Adept at building rapport quickly
• Possessing consultative sales skills
• Fast learner with the ability to absorb technical information
