Business Development Manager

£20K -£25K Basic Salary + Commission + Company Bonus + Company Car Allowance

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, driven individual to join our clients growing sales team. You will be responsible for developing new business and grow an established membership base.

Key responsibilities

  • Proactively locate and develop new business
  • Create a lead database of relevant prospects from external events and other sources
  • Be the lead point of contact for all new opportunities
  • Establish relationships with clients to maximise exposure and increase revenue
  • Liaise with sales and operations to ensure a smooth flow of communication

Candidate’s requirements

  • Previous experience in a business development role
  • Proven problem solver and able to negotiate effectively
  • Experience working with a CRM
  • Able to work independently with a high degree of self-sufficiency
  • Proven track record of achieving personal sales targets
  • Superb relationship builder with excellent networking and rapport building skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • IT literate
  • Effective organisational and prioritising skills
