Do you possess a track record of managing the design and creation of innovative, commercially successful digital learning solutions? Looking for a ‘greenfield’ opportunity to build an e-learning proposition within a well-established and highly reputed training services provider? If so, this role could well be for you! This is a high profile role leading the design, strategy and development of the digital learning offering.

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for the ownership and commercial strategy of the digital learning business
  • Manage and lead the design and creation of digital learning
  • Research, analyse and evaluate the digital learning arena from a commercial perspective
  • Develop relationships with appropriate suppliers and partners within the learning solutions arena
  • Create and implement a clear roadmap for the development of competitive and innovative digital learning and related offerings
  • Assess where e-learning can be integrated into classroom delivery and blended learning programmes
  • Create and implement a go-to-market strategy in collaboration with senior management
  • Collaborate with and support the sales and marketing teams in a business development capacity
  • Represent and promote the company at industry events, client meetings, networking meetings etc.

Candidate’s requirements

  •  A career path incorporating the design and creation of highly innovative e-learning and blended learning solutions
  • A minimum of two years leading a commercial digital learning team in content development, which resulted in significant revenue increases
  • Commercially astute, with experience in P&L management and ideally project management
  • A genuine passion for and expertise in creating leading edge e-learning solutions
  • Experience in the management of designing and developing digital learning that incorporates mobile learning, adaptive learning, app development, UI/UX design and 70:20:10 principles
  • Proven ability to work effectively with training teams to incorporate digital learning into existing classroom training content
  • An L&D qualification such as CIPD Learning & Development Level 3, 5 or 7 would be an advantage
