Moodle VLE Administrator

£25K-£28K Basic Salary

An exciting opportunity and varied role for an experienced Moodle Administrator who will play a pivotal role in the running of this organisation’s online learning capability. You will have responsibility for the running and maintenance of a Moodle based VLE, along with the opportunity to design digital learning content.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide support for a variety of different Moodle users
  • Update and maintain the content and resources on the Moodle platform
  • Collaborate with IT to ensure any internal issues are resolved promptly
  • Identify possible improvements for the online learning experience
  • Coordinate and manage third party suppliers
  • Create eLearning using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Camtasia
  • Maintain and develop new eLearning guides and training support resources

Candidate’s requirements

  • Strong knowledge of working within Moodle as an Administrator
  • Adept at maintaining resources and content, demonstrating new Moodle features etc.
  • Experience of coordinating a number of projects simultaneously
  • Enthusiasm to learn and take on new responsibilities
  • Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience of using eLearning authoring tools would be a strong advantage
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office products
